NATE O’ROURKE

Nate was saved at the age of 16 in Concord, New Hampshire, where he grew up. Not too long after being saved, Nate knew that God was calling him into full-time Christian service. During his college years, Nate had several neat ministry opportunities: He was able to travel for a year and a half with an evangelistic team, intern at two different churches, and counsel at two different camps. It was while he was counseling at a Christian camp in Kansas that Nate met Patience, who ultimately became his wife and, as he claims, his better half.

Nate received a Bachelor’s Degree from Pensacola Christian College and later completed a Master of Divinity from Pensacola Theological Seminary.

Nate serves as the assistant pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Ottawa, KS. He has a tremendous burden for teens and young people. His passions are preaching the Word of God and sharing the Gospel with the people God allows him to come into contact with.

Nate loves to read, run, play sports with the teens, and work out. He enjoys playing with his six precious children – Mary Kate, Melody, Malachi, Maci, McKenna, and Mariah – in the park and going on dates with his beautiful wife.

Nate’s favorite quote is, “Only one life, ‘Twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.” His favorite Bible verse is Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
